Pippin and Medlar Cottages

Medlar Cottage and Pippin Cottage are two individual, luxury cottages. They are almost identical which is why we describe them here in one document. Both have 2 bedrooms (one with a gorgeous king size bed, one with two single beds – which can be turned into a perfect kingsize bed), a beautiful, contemporary bathroom and separate wc. All the beds in Mazzard Farm cottages are of the highest quality, with great, firm coil-sprung mattresses and quality bedlinen.

Medlar and Pippin were converted from a former open-fronted wagon store in 2008. The cottages are finished and furnished to an extremely high standard, with oak flooring and doors, underfloor heating (downstairs), high quality sofa and chairs, atmospheric lighting and large glass windows and sliding glass door into our car-free courtyard.

Medlar and Pippin cottages are well designed and spacious places to stay, with semi-open plan kitchen and dining area and comfortable lounge area with log burner.

Medlar and Pippin have their own outside, high quality outdoor furniture, and provide easy access for children into both play areas.

  • Bedroom 1: King. Bedroom 2: 2 singles (2.6ft wide, full length), or Kingsize. Room for add. cot in bedroom 1. All bedrooms on upper floor
  • Bathroom: with full length bath (incl. power shower) and sink. Separate wc. Both are downstairs.
  • All linen and towels are provided. Free availability of cots, high chairs, stair gates and toys
