10 Great reasons to come to East Devon in Autumn or Winter

With 100% occupancy figures between April and late September, we don't have to convince anyone what a great place to stay Mazzard Farm is. We do often have some availability left in Autumn and Winter though, so you may wish to take note of the following top 10 reasons for staying with us during Autumn and Winter:
  1. East Devon is very pretty at this time of the year, with lovely forest or seaside walks on offer
  2. There are some lovely pubs and restaurants in the area, many offering roaring log fires and hearty food
  3. Rent our bikes and go for a refreshing bike ride in one of the many woodlands or using dedicated bicycle paths
  4. Exeter - just 20 minutes away - offers some great 'retail therapy' opportunities, as well as various cultural experiences
  5. Small seaside towns like Topsham, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Beer and Lyme Regis offer great opportunities for a leisurely day at the seaside, taking in some lovely shopping and browsing through galleries and markets. And not forgetting the dozens of opportunities to sample local food and drink
  6. The area offers some great Autumn and Winter events, including concerts, Christmas markets, Christingles, Pantomimes, and more, much more.
