Mazzard Farm is proud to announce it is teaming up with James Clark of the Travelling Cookery School to offer a 2 day Residential Cookery Course. A professionally run course aimed at people with some (basic) cooking skills who want to up-skill a few levels, allowing them to wow friends and family with being able to put some seriously good food on the table. Apart from teaching you how to cook, the course also focuses on sourcing your ingredients, how to pick a really good bottle of wine and food presentation. And it has a strong emphasis on fun as well.
A few examples of the draft outline of the 2 days (3 nights – Monday till Thursday. Option to stay until Friday at no extra charge) are as follows:
- On day 1: learning about your tools in the kitchen and focusing on fish of the South West day (checking for freshness cleaning the fish and filleting)
- On day 2: We run an afternoon tea making session ( mini carrot cakes, Victoria sponge, cookies,scones) .
