Things to do in the area

There is really no shortage of things to do in the area. If anything, you are spoilt for choice. Within a 10 - 20 minute drive there are so many facilities that you will need much more than a week to enjoy it all. The beaches at Sidmouth, walks and bike rides on East Hill, wild bird displays, forest walks and drop slides at Escot, gardens and great (indoor and outdoor) play areas at Bicton park, fun at Crealy, fossil hunting near Lyme Regis, trains at Pecorama, The Donkey Sanctuary, or the city of Exeter are just a few of the many attractions / points of interest around. We're just a 20-minute walk away from the Long Distance Path 'East Devon Way'.

We can help you to make the most of these by providing you with an extensive 'We love East Devon - guide of things to do whilst at Mazzard Farm', compiled for, and with the help of, our guests. This guide will provide you with a great insight in how to most enjoy your time here, without having to wade through endless heaps of folders, leaflets and the like, wasting valuable holiday time. We will send you this guide, free of charge, as soon as you confirm your booking, so you can already start preparing for, and looking forward to, what is to come long before you arrive! And if nearer your actual holiday time we have released a later version, we will send you this too! Click here for some sample pages of the Guide.

To give you a sense of what your stay at Mazzard Farm can look like, we describe three 'typical weeks at Mazzard Farm'

The 'Links' section of this website provides you with some ideas of what is around, but bear in mind this is not even a fraction of what you will find in the guide, and is just meant to whet your appetite.
