Mazzard Farm post COVID
Although we are now fully open again, we understand that some of you may be somewhat anxious about going on holiday. Will things be clean? How about social distancing? Are facilities going to be open? What if I need to cancel last minute or there is going to be another lockdown? Please read on as we explain what we have done to make your trip both safe and fun! And please note, for us to be allowed to open, a whole range of steps had to be put in place, including a detailed risk assessment. On the basis of this, Visit England awarded Mazzard Farm 'Good to Go' status! Please note: to allow us to complete the additional Covid related cleaning and sanitation, our check in is from 5pm for time being. Many thanks for your understanding!
Mazzard Farm has always had great ratings for its cleaning standards (5* on Tripadvisor), but obviously we'll be going a few steps further for the foreseeable future.
For example: all soft furnishings are steam cleaned between each stay, including matresses and pillows. All hand touch surfaces are sanitised at the end of each cleaning cycle, ie light switches, door handles etc. Our cleaning detergents are to standard EN14476, there are sanitation stations in place, and much more.
Want to know more, please don't hesitate to contact us!
We understand that many people will want to know that when they book they don't risk losing any money. For that reason, any Mazzard Farm booking is now totally risk-free, as we don’t actually invoice your fee until a week before arrival, and your booking is fully flexible until then too.
All we ask to secure the cottage in your name is a flat £50 commitment fee (which we will deduct from final rental fee) upon booking.
On site, everything at Mazzard Farm is open as per usual, although we do of course as all guests to socially distance between families. With just 6 cottages at Mazzard Farm, and 17 acres of space to explore, this really isn't very difficult.
In the area around us, attractions, pubs and restaurants are slowly but surely opening up again too, of course with certain measures put in place. We can fill you in when you are here what the latest state of play is.
One thing we have learned over the last couple of weeks is that instead of booking direct / online, people call or e-mail us with questions first.
And that is not just absolutely fine, it is also totally understandable.
So if you do have any questions not answered here, please don't hesitate and pick up the phone, or drop us a line.
We look forward to hearing from you!
