Devon & Jurassic Coast Photo Safari

Devon and the Jurassic Coast have a beautiful and varied landscape and offer a wonderful location for landscape photography. From the secluded river valleys and picturesque coastal villages of the Jurassic and South Devon to the rugged splendour of the north Devon coast, and windswept wilderness of Dartmoor, it boasts a myriad of fantastic photo locations with views which change minute by minute with the changing weather, light and seasons.

In this two and a half day, three night photo tour, you will have the opportunity to explore a range of Devon’s most photogenic locations, using Mazzard Farm as a comfortable base located in the beautiful East Devon countryside. You will be guided by professional landscape photographer and Devon specialist, Gary Holpin, and will be part of a small group, to ensure maximum support and advice is available from Gary before, during and after the location shoots – both in terms of support in exploring the location, getting the best photo, and in techniques such as multiple exposures, long exposures, focus stacking and use of filters if required.

The tours can be completely bespoke and set up for individuals or small groups, or you can join one we make available for up to 3 participants to join. A tour would usually kick off after a shared lunch on Friday, and we will be guided by the weather and tides in choosing locations, but expect be out exploring the local East Devon coast on Friday afternoon (2-6pm approx). On Saturday and Sunday (10am to 6pm approx) we will travel further afield and (weather permitting) will include at least one later sunset shoot. For those interested, we will also spend some time together back at Mazzard Farm, post-processing some of your images using Adobe Lightroom.
