A chilled place for chilled people!
Our Cottages
We have six cottages positioned around a pretty courtyard. The cottages sleep between 2 and 6 (+ cots) each. Quarenden Cottage and Damson Cottage can be joined to form one large 5-bedroom cottage (sleeping 10 + 3 cots). Each cottage has a contemporary, high quality and very comfortable feel. Mazzard Farm does not allow guest pets. Sorry.
On the Farm
Mazzard Farm has everything a great holiday needs: 17 acres (6.5 hectares) of gorgeous woodland, fields, gardens, an orchard, children’s play areas, horse paddocks, and a cobbled courtyard. Between them offering all ages a great opportunity to have a wonderful time.
In the Area
Mazzard Farm makes a perfect base for exploring East Devon and the Jurassic Coast. So much to see and do. In fact, to make life easy for you we have written our own 'Rough Guide' to East Devon. Drop us a mail and we'll send you one (.pdf) by e-mail. Or check for more information under the Facilities tab on this website

A lovely, quiet location
Just over a mile from the hub of Ottery St Mary itself, with lovely walks around the area. A peaceful spot, ideal for solo travellers or families wishing to get away from it all. The host was really accommodating, ensuring my impromptu stay was as pleasant as possible.
Wonderful place to get away from it all
We had a brilliant few days saying in Bramley Cottage. A lovely welcome from Jackie with some delicious scones, cream and jam upon arrival. Both Jackie and Ruud were extremely helpful and provided heaps of useful information. The cottage was very cosy, well equipped and the bed also very comfortable. We slept so well and enjoyed how quiet it was. A fantastic base from which to explore all this beautiful part of Devon has to offer.
Perfect for large groups
We spent an extended weekend at Mazzard Farm with our friends and family for our wedding accommodation. The site is absolutely perfect for large groups, the courtyard and grounds are especially good when the sun is out. Each cottage was more than suitably stocked and the size of the rooms were great. Whilst the roads leading up to the farm are quite tight (which is to be expected for the area you're in) it's only 15 minutes drive to wherever you need to go and only just over 5 minutes to the nearest shops. Would highly recommend. P.S. my wife particularly enjoyed the company of the family pets
A Haven of Peace and Tranquillity in the Countryside
We absolutely love staying at Mazzard Farm and have returned many times—it truly is a haven of peace and tranquillity in the countryside. There are so many beautiful places to explore nearby, but one of the highlights is the abundance of fabulous walks right from the doorstep. The owners are incredibly helpful and always on hand if you need anything. It’s clear they put a lot of hard work into running the business and keeping everything well maintained. One of our favourite touches is the cream tea provided on arrival—it’s such a warm and thoughtful welcome. All the properties are spacious, spotlessly clean, and feel so inviting. The farm is home to lots of friendly animals, from goats to horses, which adds to the charm. There’s also a lovely farm shop and café within easy walking distance, offering stunning countryside views. We’ve enjoyed many delicious brunches there. We would wholeheartedly recommend Mazzard Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
