The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable, with a very peaceful location near to Ottery. Our 2 children found lots of things to do and really appreciated the garage full of toys, the playground and the animals.

The site is well equipped with a laundry room, honesty box for fresh apple juice & frozen pastries which is a nice touch & lots of info on things to do in the local area. The wild gardens, orchards & animals are perfect for young children to explore in a safe environment and to experience the rural outdoors.

We had a lovely stay in Medlar Cottage in mid-October. The communication with Ruud before we arrived was very good & he was able to provide us with a wealth of information about the cottage & local area which helped us to get the most out our stay.
