We had a lovely time staying in Russet Cottage and the owners we beyond helpful. The first night we had a barbecue in the lovely Orchard area. We bought some of our own coals but there was a bag set up by the BBQ that we could use.

We had a wonderful stay in Russet Cottage. The cottage was compact but really well furnished and stocked, with plenty of room for a family of four. (Our girls are 8 and 12). The setting was lovely, with fantastic grounds, with plenty of different areas so that guests don’t get on top of each other (climbing frames, orchard, woods, football ‘pitch’, animals, picnic tables etc).

The location is remote and consequently peaceful and calming. The cottages are well designed and stylish and good quality materials and fittings have been used throughout. We stayed in Russet Cottage and found the kitchen well equipped and the lounge area comfortable.
